Atomic Test (Demo)
Welcome to the Lab, Scientist.
Atomic Test is an addictive roguelike-incremental simulator where you manage the building blocks of matter. Master the delicate balance of physics-based action, strategic upgrades, and prestige systems in a high-stakes quantum environment.
This is a FREE DEMO. Experience the core loop of atomic experimentation and help us shape the future of the project!

Key Features:
- Experimental Runs: Every session is a new chance to optimize your fusion strategy and discover new elements.
- Incremental Progression: Merge light elements into heavy materials to skyrocket your Science production and unlock higher Tiers.
- Upgrades & Prestige: Accumulate scientific data to unlock powerful permanent buffs and reset for even greater rewards.
- Physics-Driven Chaos: Feel the impact of every collision in a dynamic field where mass and speed change everything.
Are you ready to trigger the perfect chain reaction?

Help us build the future of Atomic Test!
As an independent developer, your feedback is invaluable to me. This demo is just the beginning, and I want to hear your thoughts:
- Found a bug? Let me know in the comments below!
- Balance & Difficulty: Is the prestige system too slow? Are some atoms too hard to get?
- Feature Ideas: What "Quantum Spell" or element would you like to see next?

As far as I can tell the quantum skill tree upgrade "Molecular Friction" does not work.
I just purchased the upgrade and I am not getting any science when my particles collide with the walls.
This is frustrating since there is no way to redistribute the skills, so it is a completely wasted point.
The gameplay is quite frustrating, from the near-misses between atoms of the same tier to collisions between atoms of different tiers getting in the way of reactions, the inability to extend the duration of the experiment, the absurd RNG to get boron (and the even harsher grind to get carbon), the fact that it costs several non-hydrogen atoms to get even a single one in the field...
Hi! Thank you so much for this detailed feedback. This is exactly what I need to hear as I'm balancing the game for the full release.
I take your point about the collisions between different tiers being frustrating—I'll look into ways to make the reactions smoother. Also, I'll review the RNG and costs for Boron and Carbon, as it seems the difficulty curve is too steep right now.
My goal is to make the 'experiment' feel rewarding, not just a grind, so I'll definitely be tweaking these numbers in the next update. Thanks for playing long enough to reach those tiers and for helping me improve the game!
